SELF-PORTRAIT...

These are my self portrait pictures. My alter-ego pictures kind of freak me out to be honest. I don't think they really look like me at all, but that's what makes them cool...

Rule Of Thirds and Symmetry

I love this picture and the texture of the basketball. I took it for symmetry but there is much more than that. I also like the small amount of focus and the blurred background.

This was a picture taken for Rule of Thirds. I really like this picture with the highlights blacks. It's a very visually appealing picture.

I like this picture a lot. There is a small sliver of focus and the blurred edges which makes a nice picture. I also had the lighting coming from the left, making the shadows on the right. This was for the Rule of Thirds project (:

LIGHT

This is a photo taken using direct light. You can tell which way the light was coming from by looking at the highlight and the distinct shadow.

Here is another direct light picture, taken when the sun is creating shadows in my neighbor's yard.

This picture for the Light Project was taken with the light
behind my subject, creating the bright white highlights.
This was my friend Nicole hanging upside-down at Bridgeport Elementary.

Portrait Project

This picture really demonstrates the love between mother and newborn child.
)
This picture has a lot of feelings and emotion behind it. I took this
picture the day after the baby was born.

The composition was nice even though I hadn't learned about it yet
I am really proud of these pictures.

Contemplate.
I really like the lighting in this picture and
the expression on his face.

One Thing(:

My 'One Thing' project was of my piano. This is a close up of the inside of my piano. I like the amount of small details.

This picture looks really cool with the reflection of the keys in the background.

Photograms

This was done by placing items over a sheet of photo paper and then exposing it to the light. I like the clear distinction of the shapes on the paper.
I made this one by moving the objects around while exposing it. The shapes aren't as distinct.

Pinhole Pictures

This is an inverted picture of the parking lot with my "canera".. This picture turned out really well with only slightly distorted shape of the cars.
The same pinhole picture, except this time inverted to the positive.

Pinhole:)

This picture of me was taken with a pinhole in a can. This is the negative version.
